Found on August 25, 1995, PT Chandra Sakti Utama Leasing (CSUL) provides one-stop financing for the purchase of Caterpillar products such as tractors, loaders, engines, generators, excavators and etcetera, for the construction, mining, forestry, agricultural and energy sectors also to support Trakindo group employee’s financial needs.

Formerly, this company was knows as PT Asia Express Graha, a subsidiary of PT Modern Photo Film until both companies merge to become a leasing company. When they started operation in 1985, PT Modern Photo Film held a joint venture with Standard Chatered Bank which change the ownership to 33,3% for PT Mordern Photo Film and 66,7% for Standard Chatered Bank. In 1990, PT Modern Photo Film sold their shares to PT Inti Putera Modern, whilst Standard Chatered Bank sold their shares to Standard Chatered Overseas Holdings. PT Trakindo Utama eventually acquired both shares from PT Inti Putera Modern and Standard Chatered Bank on August 25, 1995.
